Outside Surgery Hours

For urgent appointments outside our normal surgery hours, please call the NHS 24 service on 111

Medical Education

We are a training practice and you may be offered an appointment with a GP registrar. The registrars are fully qualified and will have had experience in several hospital specialities. They are completing their specialist training as a GP and usually stay with the practice for one year.

We also teach medical students and sometimes you may be asked to see the doctor or nurse with a student present. You will always be asked beforehand if this is acceptable and you may ask for the student to withdraw if you prefer to have your consultation in private.

Disabled Access

There is good access for the disabled to all of our consultation rooms. A designated parking bay is adjacent to the surgery entrance and the surgery has a ramp and wide doors to allow for wheelchair access.

The practice also has its own wheelchair on the premises. If you or a relative need to use this when coming to the surgery, let us know and we will gladly bring this out to the car park for you if this is suitable.
